How much time to provide for online orders?

As we bake all our whole cakes fresh, orders must be submitted and paid in full at least 2 days in advance prior to delivery or self-collection date. (e.g. for delivery on Thursday, order must be made and paid by Tuesday).

For Customised Cakes and Cupcakes we will require at least 1 week notice.

For urgent orders, kindly call us at +65 9694 8391 or email info@bakers13.com.sg for availability.

 

How can we pay online?

We accept payments by Visa or Mastercard or Amex credit cards. Confirmation email invoice will sent automatically once payment is received. 

We can also accept payment via bank transfer/bank deposit/PayNow to our Singapore OCBC Bank account.

After receipt of payment, Baker's 13 will provide confirmation email invoice to you. Kindly furnish email address to receive the email invoice.

 

Self Collection or Delivery?

We allow self collection of orders from our store at the address below. Indicate self collect during the submission of order and select your preferred collection date and time. Self-collection is only between 12pm to 3pm OR 3pm to 5pm Monday, Wednesday to Sunday (i.e. Baker's 13 is closed on Tuesdays).

For local delivery option, Baker’s 13 will either deliver the good(s) personally or arrange our logistics partner to deliver the good(s). All deliveries are made with air conditioned vehicles, from our store directly to you. Delivery is only between 10am to 12pm or 5pm to 8pm Monday, Wednesday to Sunday (we are closed on Tuesdays). For delivery times outside of this schedule, kindly let us know to check availability. 

Baker’s 13 strives to ensure the delivery is made within the delivery window arranged. But delays might occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. traffic jams, etc). Baker’s 13 will inform the customer if there are any delay to the schedule.

 

How much for delivery?

For total purchases above S$200, we will provide free delivery to one location and one timing within Singapore Mainland. Applies to standard cakes and products. Not applicable for customised cakes and cupcakes.

For total purchases below S$200, a delivery fee is charged based on distance. Delivery fee ranges from SGD$10 to SGD$40 to one location and one timing. Delivery fee is calculated based on the distance from Baker's 13. Ensure correct delivery address is keyed into the cart when confirming your order.

Kindly ensure the recipient is present during the date and time of delivery, as an additional delivery charge ($30) will be incurred to reschedule another delivery slot. As cakes require refrigeration, we are not able to wait for the recipient or leave the good(s) unattended.

 

Can we cancel or refund our order?

Unfortunately, we do not accept any request for refund or cancellation, once payment is made. All Good(s) sold are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

 

What are the storage instructions for cakes?

For cheesecakes and shortcakes, they have to be stored in the fridge within 30 mins after delivery or self collection. And best eaten chilled from the fridge.

For buttercream or fondant based cakes, they need to be stored in the fridge within 60 mins after delivery or self collection to maintain freshness, and removed at least ONE hour prior to cutting to allow the product to thaw and soften. This is because we use 100% French butter in our products, which will harden in the fridge.

Do not store the cakes in the Freezer.

 

What is the shelf life for the cakes?

For cheesecakes and shortcakes, shelf life is 2 days after delivery / pickup. Due to the fresh cream, cheese or fruits used in such cakes.

For buttercream or fondant based cakes, shelf life is 5 days after delivery / pickup.

Proper storage conditions have to be adhered to ensure the above shelf life is achievable. e.g. cakes stored in the box or air tight containers in the fridge.
