At Baker’s 13, we believe that a signature cake should never stop evolving.
While our customers have come to love our Ispahan Shortcake and Au Chocolat, we wanted to take a fresh look at both cakes — not simply changing how they look, but refining their taste, texture and overall presentation.
After careful thought and plenty of tasting, we’re excited to unveil the latest versions of these two Baker’s 13 signatures.

🌹 The Reimagined Ispahan Shortcake
Our Ispahan Shortcake has always been about the beautiful combination of lychee, rose and raspberry.
For the new version, we have refined both its appearance and flavour profile to create a cake that feels more contemporary while retaining the delicate character of the original.
The cake features lychee and rosewater-infused vanilla sponge, layered with silky rose cream, our house-made raspberry jam and diced lychee.
The result is a wonderfully balanced combination of floral, fruity and creamy notes — delicate without being overly sweet.
A Fresh New Look
The redesign brings a more elegant and minimalist approach to the cake. Delicate piped flowers and refined finishing details give the Ispahan a sophisticated appearance, while an edible gold centre adds a subtle touch of luxury. ✨
It is still recognisably our Ispahan, but with a more polished and modern personality.
🍫 The All-New Au Chocolat
For chocolate lovers, our Au Chocolat has received an equally indulgent makeover.
We wanted to create a chocolate cake that delivers depth, creaminess and texture in every bite.
The new version combines moist, tender chocolate sponge with layers of white chocolate and dark chocolate whipped ganache.
And because texture matters, we've added chocolate crunchy pearls throughout the layers, giving you that satisfying crisp contrast against the smooth, luscious ganache.
A More Decadent Finish
The redesigned Au Chocolat is finished with a smooth coating of dark chocolate ganache frosting, complemented by elegant white and dark chocolate piping and delicate chocolate pieces.
